Notes

  • The guarantee for the DB Schenker Guaranteed products does not apply to shipments that are delayed by conditions beyond DB Schenker’s control. These conditions would include Acts of God (weather, earthquakes, floods, etc.), riots, fires, airport closings, bomb scares, unavailability or refusal of the consignee to accept delivery or delays caused by Government agencies (ATC, ATF, FBI, FDA, USDA, etc.)
  • The guarantee for the Ground products does not apply to Dangerous Goods shipments if CFR regulations are not followed, including limitations imposed by or compatibility of commodities.
  • Also excluded from the guarantee are shipments requiring residential deliveries or appointment deliveries, shipments containing any piece(s) with a dimension greater than 72 inches in measurement COD/FCCOD shipments and shipments from unknown shippers.
  • Claims for credit or refund must be submitted within ten (10) days of the scheduled delivery date.
  • All requests will be processed and returned within fifteen (15) working days of receipt.
